IDAHO FALLS — The annual Riverbend Genetic Edge Bull Sale happens this Saturday at Riverbend Ranch in Idaho Falls and more bulls than ever before will be available for purchase.
A full house is expected as ranchers and others from across the country will bid on over 500 bulls, according to Rhett Jacobs, General Manager of Riverbend Ranch.
“They can expect to see the best bulls that Riverbend has had the chance to offer in a public auction,” Jacobs says. “I’m so excited for this set of bulls. We’ve always had good bulls but this set is very special to us.”
Jacobs says the bulls are very deep from top to bottom. He compares the offerings to a body-building competition.
“Occasionally you get one or two Arnold Schwarzeneggers showing up. This time, we’ve got over 250 Arnold Schwarzeneggers that are going to show up,” he explains.
The bull sale begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Riverbend Ranch is located at 2880 North 55 West.
