Responsibly Raised: The Riverbend Ranch Way
At Riverbend Ranch, responsibly raised isn’t just a phrase—it’s a promise. We believe that raising cattle the right way leads to better beef for your family. Our cowboys and family ranchers take great care of the cattle each day. Their gentle nature puts the animals at ease. They follow strict standards that ensure humane animal treatment, high-quality nutrition, and ethical ranching practices every step of the way.

Humane Treatment
The health and well-being of our cattle always come first. Our calves are raised by their own mothers in pristine mountain meadows in the Northwest United States. And they are managed with humane practices that exceed the standards of many US ranches.
From birth, each calf is afforded the dignity of time spent with its own mother, fostering bonds and nurturing natural instincts that are vital to the animal’s emotional well-being. As the calves grow, they roam freely on vast, open ranch land, where they can graze, explore, and play in a natural environment.
Our Never Ever Promise
We believe in raising beef the way nature intended—without shortcuts. We don’t use growth hormones to make our cattle grow faster. The superior genetics of our herd give our calves all of the advantage they need to mature naturally without growth hormones. When animals with good genetics are raised in open pastures there is no need to administer antibiotics to keep them healthy. That’s why we can make our Never Ever promise: our animals are NEVER EVER given growth hormones or antibiotics—guaranteed!

A Thoughtfully Crafted Diet
Our cattle follow a nutrient-balanced diet that’s designed for their health and well-being. Riverbend Ranch’s Director of Nutrition has a PhD in Livestock Nutrition and carefully monitors the cattle’s diet to ensure they receive only the best possible care.

Cared for by Generations of American Ranchers
Every Riverbend Ranch calf is born and raised in the USA—not in cages. Raising cattle isn’t just a job for us—it’s a way of life. Our experienced cowboys and family ranchers dedicate their lives to caring for these animals. With generations of expertise and a commitment to ethical ranching, they ensure every animal is treated with dignity and respect.
